Discover Egypt’s rich history on this 6-day tour. Explore Cairo’s iconic Pyramids, Sphinx, and Egyptian Museum, then journey to Alexandria to visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Qaitbay Citadel.
You will arrive at Cairo airport, meet and be assisted by our representative from Golden Pyramids Travel, and then transfer to your hotel.
Next, you will move to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, one of the largest museums in the world. It includes more than 120 thousand archaeological pieces on display, and the rest are in storage.
The museum has two main floors, the ground floor and the first floor. On the ground floor, there are some coins and papyrus. There are also some artifacts from the New Kingdom. These items include statues and tables.
On the first floor, there are some artifacts from dynasties 29 and 30, with some items from the tombs of the Valley of the Kings, in particular the amazing treasure of King Tutankhamon. There are two special rooms containing several mummies.

Take a break to have your lunch at a local restaurant. You will go to Dahshur, which is famous for the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, which were constructed by King Snefru (2613-2589 BC), the father of Khufu (Cheops).
There is also a pyramid was built by Amenemhat II (1929–1895 BC), the 12th dynasty, which is now badly damaged. Several tombs of royal women were built there as well. King Senusret III built two pyramids there. The Black Pyramid was built by King Amenemhat III; it remains the most imposing monument at the site after the two Snefru pyramids.
Back to the hotel, overnight in Cairo.

Take a break to have your lunch at a local restaurant. Then, continue your trip to the Citadel of Qaitbay, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the Montazah Palace from the outside.

After that, your guide will take you to the most beautiful place in Cairo to walk in the largest Islamic Museum in the world in Al-Muizz Street and Khan Al-Khalili Market.
